Lambeth Libraries are reopening!

open-to-discovery

Seven Lambeth Libraries will reopen with appointment services from 20 July

WN

West Norwood Library

We're back! We are very pleased to announce that from Monday 20 July you will be able to return your items and make an appointment to use a service between 11am and 4pm at Brixton, Carnegie, Clapham, Durning, Tate South Lambeth, Streatham and West Norwood Libraries.

Lambeth Archives will also be offering an appointment only service for researchers, and the Home Library Service will be able to deliver books to you if you are housebound and cannot get to a library.

You will be able to call or email your preferred library to make an appointment to use a computer, print, scan and photocopy.  We are also offering a new book selection service called Select and Collect whereby you can select up to 20 books, audiobooks and DVDs yourself, or have them chosen for you by a Librarian after telling us your preferences. You can then call or email to make an appointment to collect your books from your preferred library.

Minet, Upper Norwood and Waterloo Libraries won't open just yet, but we are working hard behind the scenes to ensure they can also reopen safely very soon.

In adherence with government social distancing guidelines we will continue to host events online. You'll also still be able to access the full range of online services, including e-books, e-audiobooks, films, newspapers, Encylopaedia Britannica, and much more.

We're super excited to see you at our libraries soon. Continue to stay safe and happy reading until then!
