A series of online Lambeth history talks by the staff of Lambeth Archives
The July and August Local History in Lock-down programme includes a virtual history walk from Vauxhall to Camberwell, an account of the bitterly contested campaign of the 1880s to create those free libraries in Lambeth that we now all take for granted, and a look at the growth of the borough's southern suburbs.

 Stop the Traffik

'People shouldn’t be bought and sold', and with the Stop App anyone can help prevent that. The international charity Stop the Traffik, founded and based at Lambeth North, disrupts human trafficking through intelligence-led prevention. Hear about their important work. The Stephen Spender Prize for poetry, in association with The Guardian, is now open for entries. This annual competition is the ideal activity for remote learning, and this year there are lots of virtual resources to make it fully accessible from home. Deadline 17 July.
The 100 Great Black Britons home school competition is open to all age groups and is a fantastic way for children, young people and adults to learn more about the legacy and achievements of Black people in Britain. Find out about the competition. Entries open until 30 September.
 Carers’ Hub Lambeth and My Social have developed a new Lambeth Carers Card scheme offering carers free access to a Lambeth version of Carers UK Digital Resource for Carers.
