Become a hero, become a foster carer

Could you be a foster carer hero?

Fostering Fortnight began this week and runs until Sunday 31 May. The Council are appealing to our community ā€“ now, more than ever, we need new people to come forwards and apply to become foster carers.

Our Fostering Team are therefore urgently appealing to local people with a spare room and the capacity to care for a vulnerable child to consider stepping forwards during this crisis.

Join our live Q&A on Thursday 21 May

Our friendly team will be hosting a special, online information evening for anyone who may be wondering whether they can take a vulnerable child into their home. This will be an opportunity to hear from specialists and have all your questions about fostering answered.

The evening session will take place Thursday 21 May from 7 to 8pm. Once you've registered we'll send you a link to the online meeting.
