 18 TRAs successfully applied for Getting involved grants so far this year to fund 28 activities at a total cost of £123,117. Over 3,000 residents have been involved in these activities which included:
- 10 Summer schemes
- 2 afterschool clubs
- 1 sewing class
- 8 fun days
- 1 road tidy project
- 2 football projects
- 1 tennis project
- 2 coach trips
In addition 3 TRAs funded their own fun days whilst others such as Lilford started to establish good partnerships with local providers by getting access to their local gym for their summer programme at no cost.
LEAF TRA hosted a Fun Day on 15 September. There were a number of activities on the day including face painting and fun colouring games which were very popular with the children. The activities and good weather meant plenty of residents came along!

Between 9-13 September a very successful community clean up took place with the support of our partners Engie. Work was done on the garden at the rear of Deronda hall whilst also assisting HIllside/Redhill court residents with the removal of their unwanted white goods and larger household items with a skip day. The events took place over two days, Wednesday 11 Sept and Thursday 12 Sept.

The Blooming Lambeth awards are being held on 15 October 2019 at the Lambeth Assembly Hall. With awards to be won across a number of categories, we know many of our residents will be attending to find out if their entries will take home a prize! We have our fingers crossed.

The annual rent consultation meeting for tenants will be taking place on Tuesday 29 October 2019 at 6.30pm at the Town Hall. There will also be a repairs surgery for individual queries. Please register your interest in attending by emailing us |
