Theatre trip & flower arranging classes for Edmundsbury Court Estate TRA

In August members of the Edmundsbury Court Estate TRA had a slice of culture, with a fun Theatre Trip to see the highly acclaimed Barber Shop Chronicles.

Edmundsbury Court Estate where at it again this time in the form of cultivation with their flower arranging classes which took place in early august.

 

 


Woodvale Estate TRA, Fun Day

Woodvale Estate TRA hosted a Fun Day on 16 August. There was a number of activities on the day, such as face painting, which was very popular with the children. Creative fun stalls where set up to offer residents information on the different services that we offer.


Lilford Road TRA, Summer scheme awards

On the 23 August, Lilford Road TRA had a grand ending to their Summer Scheme with an awards ceremony for the youngsters that attended. The awards were presented by the Summer Scheme staff and volunteers. The children had an opportunity to showcase their skills and were full of pride at what they achieved. The value the summer scheme offers is there for all to see. It’s bound to have a positive lifelong impact on their futures.


Fenwick Estate TRA, trip to Bournemouth

Fenwick Estate TRA arranged a coach trip for residents to enjoy a fun-filled day to remember in sunny Bournemouth. They were lucky to experience the delightful sandy beach and a surprise trip to the town centre. Glorious weather was on the menu as the group played beach games. The locals fancied a bit of a beach dance off, so naturally the Fenwick collective did not hesitate to showcase their array of moves to the delight of the watching crowd. Some of the residents took to the town centre to marvel at the historic architecture, completing a relaxing and satisfying experience.

Panel update

The Re-procurement Panel has continued to regularly meet to help shape how and what the new repairs, estate services and major works contracts should look like to ensure better service quality and value for money for residents. Recent recruitment led to a further 59 residents expressing interest in getting involved in the re-procurement process making it 100 in total.
