The Big Jubilee Read is a reading for pleasure campaign delivered in partnership with BBC Arts and The Reading Agency. Seventy titles - ten from each of the last seven decades - compiled from readers' suggestions by a panel of librarians, booksellers and 'literature specialists'.
Aiming "to engage all readers in the discovery and celebration of great books"

Kirklees Author Forum Exchange is back!
This session, led by Writing Coach Cat Lumb, will explore how writers can intentionally increase their writing output, deal with writer's block, and conquer any procrastination issues they might have. We'll examine what support exists for writers, and how we can make use of this both on our own and with others, and identify any gaps in the support network to work on developing these with KAFE for the future.
A proactive, practical workshop that will encourage writers to better understand their writing and themselves and explore the necessary, everyday maintenance of being a writer.
