WOVEN in Kirklees
Woven is back! and this year the festival is taking you on a journey through the textile heritage of a few of our historic places here in Kirklees. The First 'Uphill and Down Vale' starts in Slaithwaite on June 13, or you can explore the ingredients that built the textile excellence of past and present in Marsden on June 18.

Volunteering
This week has been national volunteering week, a time to say thank you to all those that volunteer and recognise the difference they make. It also seems like a good time to highlight the benefits that volunteering can have on our health.
