Whether you read a lot or don’t know when you last picked a book up, you can join in the celebration in so many different ways!

This year we would really like to encourage men to share details of books they have read and enjoyed. A great way to do this is to join the World Book Night Reading Hour #ReadingHour www.twitter.com/explore and post photos of yourself reading or if you’re selfie shy just a photo of the book – the promotion is open to everyone but men it’d be good to see you there maybe sharing a book with your pet!

How to be a Footballer by Peter Crouch
Peter Crouch is a former professional footballer who played as a striker. He was capped 42 times by the England national team between 2005 and 2010, scoring 22 goals for his country in that time, and appearing at two World Cups.
And he is also a funny bloke! In this book sure he talks football but he also talks about footballers and their sports-cars, fashion tastes, music, haircuts, tattoos to name a few.
You can also catch Peter Crouch on his weekly podcast: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/

East Of Hounslow by Khurrum Rahman
Meet Jay. Small-time dealer. Accidental jihadist. The one man who can save us all? Javid – call him Jay. MI5 have been watching him and his life is about to get turned upside down in unexpected ways.
I couldn’t put it down! Addictive, thrilling, funny (reminded my of the humour in the film Four Lions (2010)) I couldn’t wait to read the next the next in the series!
