Fun for children

Bright Start activities for children aged 0-5 and their families are taking place online. What about trying Zumba, a fun and energetic class that suitable for both parents and children so the whole family can join in with the session? Or a Mums and Babies Meet Up where you can share your experiences of all things feeding and parenting.

Teens and young adults

Young people aged 13-24 who live or go to school or college in Islington, can sign up for free Summerversity and Launchpad courses. Here are what's coming up next week.

Activities: week 3, Monday 3 August

Football Camp 
Take your football technique to another level working on ball skills, footwork, fitness, team play, shooting and passing and more.  Both girls and boys of all abilities are welcome.

Be a real life superhero and learn first aid. This course will teach you how to keep your cool in an emergency and take the right action at the right time. Perfect for boosting your CV, gaining new skills and making smart decisions.

Join a group of other young people on a 3 day course to make collaborative podcasts about themes that affect young people. Make friends, learn how podcasts are created and get your opinions heard.

Join specialist music production facilitators from Soapbox Youth Hub for an online course in how to create and produce your own tracks. Even if you're brand new to making music you'll come away with plenty of skills to continue to learn and improve.

If your child is shielding have a look at the online Summerversity and Launchpad courses. Book your place as normal, but email the course provider to let them know your child is shielding and we will do our best to give you a place.
