Protect yourself and your neighbours
We're set for some nice weather this weekend, but please do not forget the Government instruction to stay at home. Only go outside for food, exercise, or work (but only if you cannot work from home). If you do go out stay 2 metres away from other people, and wash your hands as soon as you get home. Don't meet friends or even family. You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.

Get in touch
If you or someone you know needs support, then help is available on the We Are Islington helpline. This could include help with getting food or medicine, online group activities, legal advice or a friendly conversation.

Working together to tackle the crisis
Islington has a strong sense of community and once again people from across the borough are coming together to support each other and keep our most vulnerable residents safe against COVID-19.
It is amazing how the borough has responded. Donations to the Islington Giving Crisis Fund top £200,000 today and continue to rise, and the Sobell Centre has been turned into a distribution centre for Government food aid packages for the most vulnerable.
The council’s estate team is working hard to support residents who need it by delivering medicines, gas and electricity top up cards and shopping to those who cannot leave their homes.
