We wanted to let you know about some improvements we are making to the IP Upload service for RP14 and RP14As. This is the first step in a series of planned improvements designed to make it quicker and easier for you to send us the information we need to process claims.
On 15th July we will be trialling a new version of the IP Upload Service which we would like you to use and provide feedback on. The new version is easier to navigate, and additional functionality will allow you to identify and correct any issues with the data before it is submitted to us.
How to access the new version service
When you begin the submission journey, you will see a prompt offering access to the new version of the service through a dedicated link (as shown in the image below). The new look pages are easy to follow. Should you have any problems you can contact the Redundancy Payments Service stakeholder mailbox for help.
We would welcome your feedback via the link at the top of the login page. This will help support future improvements.
The existing version of the service will remain available during this period, and there is no requirement to use the new version at present.

What is new
- Clearer, more informative error messages to help you correct data before its submitted
- Confirmation notifications on successful uploads, or where attention is required
- Email notification of failed uploads, notifying it has not made it to the case
- Improved validation and a more intuitive submission flow overall
- A new version of the declaration
What remains unchanged
- Your existing login credentials and process
- Accepted file formats (RP14 / RP14A)
- The core upload process itself
Next steps
We will continue to monitor performance and feedback throughout July and August. The current version of the IP Upload Service is scheduled to be withdrawn in September; however, we will communicate a specific date once we have monitored the new service sufficiently.
Additional information
Further to the change mentioned above, I would like to make you aware that the Online Claim Form will be unavailable from Friday 24 July due to essential maintenance work.
Normal services are expected to be available again from 9:00am on Monday 27 July.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Thank you for your support and we look forward to hearing your feedback.
