The Insolvency Service

INSSight has been live since early November. We recognise that the transition to the new system has caused a number of issues and we apologise for any frustration or inconvenience this has caused.

Below is the latest update on our specific services. We intend to issue regular updates in the coming weeks.

ISCIS Online

ISCIS Online was temporarily unavailable today (06/01/2026). This has now been resolved, however we are aware of the following issues and are working hard to resolve them:

  • Intermittent visibility of some case and transaction information – affecting some users
  • Account balance statements – You should be able view/download statements.

Please let us know if you notice anything else in your ISCIS Online data that appears incorrect.

Financial Transactions and Bulk Transfers

  • BACS payment requisitions– We are now processing BACS payments as they arrive, in line with our target SLA. For urgent paymentsplease contact Estate Accounts and Scanning: CustomerServices.EAS@insolvency.gov.uk
  • Cheque payment requisitions – We are now processing cheque payments as they arrive, in line with our target SLA. To help speed up processing, we encourage you to use BACS payments where possible, as this is a faster and more efficient payment method.
  • Allocation of receipts – We are now up to date in allocating monies received to estates.  Records should be visible in ISCIS Online. If you’re expecting a receipt that isn’t displayed, please get in touch with us.
  • Bulk transfers of cases - You can continue to send bulk transfer requests, and we will process them as soon as possible. Please refer to the New Templates and Guidance section below, and kindly use the new templates to help us process cases swiftly

Other matters

  • Case closures - We’re now able to process case closures where the balance is at nil and interest has been applied. We are currently unable to close cases with a credit or debit balance, or where the case needs interest to be applied.
  • Interest - We’ve experienced some issues with the system calculating interest; until we have resolved these we have paused applying interest to cases. We will provide a further update shortly.
  • Banking fee - We are aware the quarterly banking fee has not been applied and are working to resolve this. We will provide a further update shortly.

Individual Insolvency Register (IIR)

The IIR is linked to our new system and displays the processing we are carrying out for:

  • IVA registrations
  • adjudicator bankruptcy orders
  • bankruptcy orders made at court on a creditor petition

These cases will appear on the IIR once processed.

Debt Relief Orders are unaffected.

Find an IP

Our Find an IP (‘FIP’) service is now linked to INSSight and any changes notified to us during the transition period have been updated.  We are aware that currently:

  • for IPs, the 1st and 2nd line of the address are not shown.

We are expecting to implement a fix for these issues in early 2026.

Official Receiver Services

  • Reports to Creditors and Lists of Creditors - Wcan create these documents and are working on themin order of priority to meet our statutory obligations in this area.
  • Gazette notices - We are working on cases in order of priority and are publishing notices in the London Gazette as cases are processed.
  • Creditor nominations and handovers - Colleagues in Official Receiver Services have access to case information for creditor nominations and handovers. These are being progressed as quickly as possible.

Director Conduct Reporting System (DCRS)

There is no interruption to the DCRS service; it remains fully available.

New Templates and Guidance

Please use the appropriate templates for the following items:
