This update outlines the latest position on our new internal case management system, INSSight.
INSSight has been live since early November. Volumes of activities are ramping up daily according to a careful sequence agreed with our operational directorates.
We are a few days behind schedule but the numbers of colleagues working in the system (and operational actions performed within it) are increasing daily.
We understand that recent delays in processing your requests may have caused frustration, and we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
ISCIS Online is available and reflects the processing we are currently able to carry out.
We can now action password reset requests and are working through all requests received during the transition period.
We are aware that, in some cases, ISCIS online is showing an Insolvency Practitioner’s previous firm details. We're investigating this issue and will update you when this issue has been resolved. Please be assured that the case details have not changed.
Please let us know if you see anything else in your ISCIS Online data that does not look correct.
Financial Transactions and Bulk Transfers
-
BACS payment requests– We are now processing BACS payments and are currently working through requests received during the transition period. For payments that need to be made urgently, please contact Estate Accounts and Scanning: CustomerServices.EAS@insolvency.gov.uk.
-
Cheque payment requests- Cheque processing is currently slower than usual. If you have any urgent payments, please consider using the BACS payment route.
-
Allocation of receipts – We will be allocating monies received during the transition period to estates this week, and these should appear on ISCIS Online soon.
-
Bulk transfers of cases – You can continue to send bulk transfer requests, and we will process them as soon as possible.
Individual Insolvency Register (IIR)
We’re currently working through the cases that were received during the transition period and entering them into our new system. This includes:
-
adjudicator bankruptcy applications
-
bankruptcy orders made at court on a creditor petition
These cases will appear on the IIR once processed.
Debt Relief Orders are unaffected.
Following a technical update on 5 November, some Insolvency Practitioners (IPs) noticed that their details had changed on our Find an IP (‘FIP’) service.
This was an unexpected side effect of our transition to INSSight. This identified that some of the displayed details were incorrect. We took immediate steps to rectify the situation. FIP is now showing the same information as it did prior to the update, for all IPs.
Changes to IP details that have been notified to us during the transition period will appear on FIP soon.
Official Receiver Services
Reports to Creditors and Lists of Creditors- We can create these documents and are working on them in order of priority to meet our statutory obligations in this area.
-
Gazette notices- We are currently only publishing urgent notices in the London Gazette. We are working on this and expect to publish more general notices in the coming days.
-
Creditor nominations and handovers- ORS colleagues have access to case information for creditor nominations and handovers. These are being progressed as quickly as possible.
Director Conduct Reporting System (DCRS)
There is no interruption to the DCRS service; it remains fully available.
