Amendments to the proof of debt report
We’ve listened to your feedback, and made changes to the proof of debt (POD) report.
The key changes you will see are:
- the overall totals, summary of all payments and individual component breakdowns are divided into separate tabs. This will make it easier to move between different parts of the report
- each claimant’s National Insurance number has been added to the payment summary
- we’ve removed merged and hidden cells making it easier to copy and paste data and apply filters
We will apply these changes to the POD report from 28 April 2023.

Change to Dear IP (web) archive
We will soon be transitioning the archive version of pre-2020 issues of Dear IP (currently at https://www.insolvencydirect.bis.gov.uk/insolvencyprofessionandlegislation/dearip/dearipindex.htm) to the National Archives, and decommissioning the version we hold on legacy servers. Accordingly, the links to the archive found at the start of each chapter of Dear IP on GOV.UK will be updated to the new location.
