As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, with immediate effect, Companies House will now accept filing of statutory insolvency documents via emailed PDF attachments. The instructions for filing by this method were issued in our earlier communication dated 7 April 2020.
In addition, in light of the current situation and recent changes to court procedures, Companies House has changed its requirements in relation to the filing of a Declaration of Solvency.
These changes are:
- They no longer require the original to be filed. Companies House will accept an emailed PDF copy of the document;
- Companies House will accept a Declaration of Solvency sworn via video.
