An Inspector Calls

J.B Priestley's classic thriller, An Inspector Calls, returns to Hull New Theatre this February following a record-breaking sell-out tour in 2022.

Directed by Academy Award and Tony Award winning director, Stephen Daldry (Billy Elliot, Stranger Things: The First Shadow), this spectacular National Theatre production has been hailed as the theatrical event of its generation and has thrilled more than five million theatregoers worldwide.

When the wealthy Birling family throw a peaceful dinner party to celebrate their daughter's engagement, they have no idea that their lives are about to be turned upside down by the arrival of the mysterious Inspector Goole. His startling revelations regarding the death of a young woman shake the very foundations of their lives and challenge the Birlings and ourselves to examine our consciences.

More relevant now than ever, this is a must-see for a whole new generation.
