The Humber Local Enterprise Partnership is a business-led partnership with the four Humber local authorities responsible for driving economic growth across the area. Hull City Council is the employing body for an independent staff team which report to a business-led Board.

The Humber LEP’s Growth Hub offers a “one stop shop” for finding sources of business support through a website and business advisors located around the Humber.  It brings together multiple partners to co-ordinate and develop the Humber’s business support infrastructure.

Funding has been secured through the Humber European Structural and Investment Funds programme to deliver a Business Growth Programme which will provide additional support to businesses through an extensive workshop programme and increase the brand value of the Growth Hub through marketing and communications activities.

The post holder will be responsible for the events, workshops and masterclass programme and for undertaking marketing and communications activities relating to the Growth Hub and Business Growth Programme.  This will ensure delivery of a comprehensive offer to businesses in the Humber and build brand awareness of the Growth Hub.

This is an opportunity to contribute to the growth and prosperity of the region, and would suit someone who is well-organised and has experience of developing and coordinating events, marketing and communications activity.

The programme is funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investments Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.  Established by the European Union, the European Regional Development Fund helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regeneration.
