Private Housing (Environmental Health) are looking to recruit 4 permanent and 1 fixed term Enforcement Officers to join its Private Sector Housing Team. You will help to improve housing standards in the private rented sector by using the wide range of enforcement tools in a professional and confident manner. This is a multi-disciplinary role offering the opportunity to investigate service requests, deal with housing in multiple occupations and mandatory licensing and address long term empty properties.   

We would welcome applicants from people who have an understanding of housing construction and property types, show a commitment to ensuring excellent customer care, possess good communication and negotiation skills and be enthusiastic, conscientious and flexible in their approach.

We are looking to recruit an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Early Help Family Support Worker to provide early, targeted support and challenge to vulnerable families as part of an integrated approach to prevent family problems from escalating and to bring about sustainable behavioural change, increasing the resilience of the family, improving outcomes and decreasing dependency on public services.

Their role will be to to develop and deliver a range of targeted Early Help services which will achieve and sustain positive outcomes for children, young people (0-19yrs) and families across Hull as part of an integrated, multi-agency Early Help Hub.  They will be acting as a Lead Practitioner for vulnerable families with a range of needs, undertaking assessments and coordinating a response to family needs in partnership with other agencies.
