Hull City Council Jobs Update

Fixed Term for up to 3 years (subject to continuation of funding).

Hull City Council is the lead partner and accountable body in a Humber Business Growth Hub programme, set to deliver an exciting new ERDF funded expansion of the Growth Hub service.

We are looking to recruit two Business Growth Advisors to proactively identify and engage with a large volume of small and medium sized enterprises, predominantly within the Hull area.  You will work alongside the Hull based programme management team and other Business Growth Hub Advisors based across the remaining Humber local authority areas.  

You will work with businesses looking to grow, assessing/diagnossing their business needs and developing and following an action plan of support in order to achieve growth objectives.  Where appropriate, you will also broker in more specialist support from other business support providers.  You will provide high quality, independent and impartial information, advice and guidance building long term relationships on a Key Account Management basis.  You will therefore have substantial experience in delivering business support, advisory/ management support or similar. 

The Growth Hub programme, including the Growth Hub Advisor posts, is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investments Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.  Established by the European Union, the European Regional Development Fund helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regeneration.
