Hull City Council Jobs Update

To proactively initiate actions to reduce local smoking prevalence, particularly amongst the routine and manual workforce, deprived communities and young people.
 
To develop targeted initiatives which contribute to a reduction in the availability and use of cheap and illicit tobacco.
 
To improve the quality and quantity of information on illegal, illicit and underage sales of tobacco in Hull
 
To encourage the support of local communities, businesses, schools and others to combat the sale of cheap and illicit tobacco.
 
To enforce the legislation surrounding tobacco control and take appropriate action for identified non-compliances in accordance with the Enforcement Policy.
 
To develop educational and publicity materials to raise awareness of the issues around tobacco control.
