You will be required to work within grounds maintenance teams, covering the whole of the City.

You will be required to undertake works to improve the environment for residents. Working to strict timeframes on schedules of work so will need to be committed and enthusiastic to ensure the timeframes are met.

Experience of working in an Environmental field and fully competent in using a full range of hand tools and powered equipment to include Strimmers, Hedge Cutters and Blowers is essential.

As a Customer Service Officer - People and Process you will provide operational support to those delivering front line customer service either in one of the Council's Customer Service Centres or the Call Centre, ensuring a high quality customer service and that customer queries are resolved were possible at first point of contact.

The role involves working with other service areas to improve and support how services are delivered at the front line. It also involves monitoring and quality ensuring content management information and delivering training to ensure that staff delivering customer service, are equipped with the skills, knowledge and tools to enable them to carry out their role.

To be an integral part of the customer programme in supporting the channel shift of customers. To create, deliver and govern on line and customer digital content and to support service areas in the development of self service functions for external customers.

The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of casework and reports relating to customer feedback and making responses to customer complaints.
