We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to lead our public health intelligence team.

Well-presented intelligence is a vital component in influencing partners and stakeholders to improve the health of our citizens and reducing health inequalities, thereby contributing to improving resident’s lives.

The Public Health Intelligence Team has a strong track record of delivering high-quality work, so we would welcome all applicants who are motivated to continue and develop this.

The role involves managing and leading the Public Health Intelligence function; an analyst group who, as part of a multi-disciplinary team, work broadly as part of the Hull City Council Public Health function, and across the local health and care system.

The role is to oversee, guide, and develop a process to obtain, analyse, interpret and publish information relating to health and wellbeing; and to lead the provision of expert advice on epidemiology, health intelligence, statistics, research and survey design to inform service design and commissioning decisions.
