Hull Training and Adult Education are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and engaging individual to provide leadership in teaching, learning and assessment across a range of curriculum areas. This is an exciting opportunity to join the organisation as it develops into new areas of curriculum and new ways of working including leading forward with the apprenticeship reforms.

This post is an opportunity to lead on our study programme and traineeship offer by ensuring that young people get the best chance of successful progression to higher education, apprenticeships and employment. The department currently offers a curriculum in Business and Administration, Customer Service, IT and in a diverse range of provision across the Creative and Cultural sector. The post holder will work closely with the deputy manager to design and develop the curriculum to meet the needs of young people and local industry, as well as ensuring that stretching targets are met in learner recruitment and success. A key focus of this role will be to work with local employers to ensure that young people get real hands on experience in the workplace that leads to sustainable employment. 

Maintaining a teaching, learning and assessment workload, the individual will have a proven track record of success in work based education and classroom teaching and act as a role model for good practice.

Hull Training and Adult Education is a leading provider of apprenticeship and adult education in the area.
