The updated version of targeting guidance LAC 67/2 - 2025 to 2026 is now available to review on HELex.
The version currently on HSE’s website relates to the work year ending 31 March 2025 and will be updated on 1 April to reflect the change to 2025 to 2026.
Please note, for clarity the revision number (13, 14 etc) will no longer be used in the title and will be replaced with the specific work-year the LAC relates to.

HSE would like to know how you use the the health and safety statistics and webpages that we provide.
The statistics website pages were visited over 200,000 times last year and your feedback is valuable, even if you don't use the site regularly. Providing your feedback will help the team understand what is helpful about the pages, what could be improved and if there’s anything that could be added.
Complete the statistics usage survey before 21 February 2025. It will only take about 10 minutes.

The LAT team will shortly be uploading a series of webinar updates to support LA colleagues. Further details will follow in mid-February.
These updates will be supported by a Microsoft Teams live question and answer session which will be held on Wednesday 26 March 2025 from 10.00am to 11.30am.
Presenters from the updates will be available to answer any questions you may have after watching the videos.

Our first topic specific webinar this year focuses on inspecting and enforcing safety at trampoline parks, as per LAC 67/2 for 2025 to 2026.
The training webinar will be delivered live online from 9.30am to 3.00pm on Thursday 27 March 2025 (Note: there will be a 30-minute lunch break and several comfort breaks built into the schedule).
The webinar will provide a comprehensive insight into the recently published standard BS EN ISO 23659:2022 — Sports and recreational facilities — Trampoline parks — Safety requirements.
It will cover key elements including risk management, operational compliance, inspections, and maintenance practices. It will also provide insights and examples of non-compliance to highlight practical challenges and solutions including initial enforcement expectations from HSE.
