Company fined as stunt performer sustains life-changing injuries during filming of movie

The production company was fined £800,000 after the worker was injured filming the action movie Fast and Furious 9.

The worker was filming a fight scene when he fell 25 feet onto the concrete floor below when the line on his stunt vest became detached.

 

He suffered a fractured skull and a severe traumatic brain injury, which has resulted in permanent impairment and disability.
