GB maximum residue level (MRL) amendments

June 2022

In order to accommodate emergency authorisations in GB, new temporary MRLs (tMRLs) have been set in the GB MRL Statutory Register for the following active/commodity combinations:

  • Cyantraniliprole/blackberries, raspberries, Chinese cabbages (pe-tsai) and leeks

The new tMRLs came into force in June on the dates indicated in the GB MRL Statutory Register and are valid for a period of 5 years.

After 5 years the tMRLs will revert to the previous MRLs in force as outlined in the GB MRL Statutory Register, unless amended by a further decision.

You can view the evaluation report, reasoned opinion and decision document supporting each of these new tMRLs on the HSE website.
