Our Biosafety Expert Will Show You How to Improve Working Practices and Manage Safety at Containment Level 3 Facilities

£2,500 per person

This course will provide you with the skills and confidence to prevent and control accidents and incidents. You will gain knowledge about equipment, concepts and philosophy of working with biological agents at level 3 of containment (used for the isolation and identification of Category 3 pathogens).

You'll take part in practical sessions in the HSE Level 3 laboratory to provide you with a hands-on opportunity to understand the design and operation at such facilities.

Meet the HSE specialist that delivers this course HSE’s Dr Brian Crook is a Research Microbiologist with over 30 years' experience. His role covers a wide range of topics including respiratory disease associated with exposure to biological agents. Brian has published more than 100 research papers and contributed to the HSE guidance on High Containment Laboratory Biosafety. Read more about Brian here.
