Update to Part 1 of the GB MRL Statutory Register

GB maximum residue levels (MRLs) are set by inclusion in a new Statutory Register.

Part 1 of the Register contains a list of products, product groups and (where appropriate) parts of products for which MRLs are set.

Part 1 of the GB MRL Statutory Register has been updated to reflect a minor change in relation to the date on which the MRLs set for kales will apply to radish leaves. The MRLs for kales were due to apply to radish leaves on 1 January 2022. However, data confirming that the MRLs for kales are suitable for radish leaves is not currently available.

The MRLs for kales will now apply to radish leaves from 1 January 2025.

This amendment only covers radish leaves harvested after the 8 true leaf stage. Radish leaves harvested up to the 8 true leaf stage are baby leaf crops and as such the MRL set for baby leaf crops (including brassica species), MRL code 0251080, applies.

The new Part 1 of the Register can be found on the front page of the GB MRL Statutory Register.
