Have your say on public transport
The Council has published a draft Public Transport Plan, setting out how it wants to improve buses, trains and tubes across the borough. It covers reliability, accessibility and how easy it is to get around.
The plan is now open for public consultation, and the team wants to hear from residents who use public transport in their everyday lives. Your feedback will help shape the final plan and future decisions.

Thanks to everyone who had a chat, and to the staff and parents at Cranford Primary and the Unique Academy, who the councillors also visited.
Local people were especially interested in the great offer for children, particularly the half-term activities at Meadowbank, as well as the warm space offer and support available for work, money and health and more.

Putting tenants at the heart of the Housing Conference

Tenants, leaseholders, councillors and housing officers came together on Saturday, 31 January for Hounslow’s Housing Conference, a day of open and constructive discussion focused on council housing and the future of local housing services.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for residents and the Council to come together, share experiences and work collaboratively on solutions.
Following the conference, a survey shared with attendees found that 85% of respondents would attend a future conference, with 70% of responses giving the event a rating of four or five out of five.
Thanks to everyone who came along and asked questions at Cabinet Question Time at Kingsley Academy on Wednesday evening. We extend particular thanks to Prof Peter John CBE, who chaired the meeting.
Cabinet members listened to what you had to say about Hounslow High Street, community safety, potholes, parking and more.
Question Time events move around the borough. You can find an upcoming event near you on the Council's website.
