The Primary Care Gambling Service (PCGS) is a free and confidential NHS service for anyone experiencing gambling harm. It also provides support for anyone impacted by someone else’s gambling.

Many parents understandably head straight to A&E when their small child is sick because they're worried they won’t get a GP appointment in time.
But in Hounslow, help is available sooner than you might think, as there are now 750 additional monthly GP appointments for children aged 0-4.
If you’re unsure what to do, call NHS 111. They can assess your child’s symptoms and book a GP appointment if needed. Many childhood illnesses can be safely managed at home with the right advice.

 Head to the BridgeLink Centre in Isleworth for a community health event from 11am-1pm on Thursday, 26 February.
It will be an engaging and informative morning, focused on local health and wellbeing. You can chat with friendly health and social care professionals, ask questions, get guidance and discover services that can help you. You can also get a free flu jab and blood pressure check.
Partners including the Health Outreach Team, Employment and Education Advisors, Adult Social Care, Carers Support and Healthy Hounslow will be on hand to offer support and advice.
You don't need to book a place, just turn up on the day.
The West Ghanian Association is hosting a women's health event at St Francis of Assisi Church in Isleworth on Sunday, 8 February at 2pm.
Called Valentine's Vibes, it offers free food and activities, a raffle and the chance to learn more about how to stay healthy.
All are welcome and there's no need to book in advance, just turn up and enjoy the event.

Do you want to share information about breast cancer screening in your community and get paid £50?
The Council and Imperial College London's breast screening community champion programme gives you the chance to do just that.
The champions receive training and use simple materials like leaflets, a video and posters to improve breast screening rates over a six-month period, saving lives in the process.

Due to popular demand, Learn Hounslow is adding another Yoga for wellbeing course on Friday mornings from 10am-12pm.
The course will start on Friday, 6 February and run for six weeks at Meadowbank Library and Community Hub.

Did you know the NHS is working hard to eliminate cervical cancer? With screening and the HPV vaccine, it's winning but it needs all of us to play our part.
Spreading the word about the importance of regular cervical screening and the HPV vaccine, for both boys and girls, is one way we can do our bit.
HPV is the virus that causes the majority of cervical cancer diagnoses, along with many other common cancers.

BetterPoints is encouraging all of us to make healthier and greener choices throughout February with its Frenduary campaign.
You just need to download the BetterPoints app, if you don't already have it, and invite friends to join. The app can help motivate you to get healthier by letting you track your activity and giving you rewards for walking, cycling, taking public transport and more.
For every friend who signs up, you’ll earn a BetterTicket for a weekly prize draws. In these draws you can win up to 50,000 BetterPoints, which can be exchanged for high-street vouchers or donated to charity.
New SEND support drop-in dates
 Finding the right support for your child or young person with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) doesn't have to be overwhelming.
There's easy to understand help available on the Local Offer website. You can also come and talk to the friendly team in-person at the monthly SEND drop-in sessions, where you can speak to a professional face-to-face for advice, guidance and support.
The new sessions are on:
- Wednesday, 4 February: Feltham Community Hub and Library (11.30am-1.30pm)
- Tuesday, 17 March: Heston Community Hub and Library (3pm-5pm)
- Tuesday, 21 April: Lampton Family Hub (10am-12pm)
The event is designed for unemployed residents aged 16 and over who require additional support, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and individuals who have been in care.
At the event, participants will be able to:
- Meet employers and training providers across a range of sectors, including: Hounslow Council, West Thames College, University of West London, National Physical Laboratory (NPL), West London NHS Trust, NatWest and more
