Severe Weather Emergency Protocol in place
With temperatures in Hounslow forecast to drop below freezing, a Severe Weather Emergency Protocol is in place. Support and shelter is available for anyone sleeping rough.
If you see someone rough sleeping, let the Streetlink team know so they can help them.
Could you help someone feel less alone?
Local charity BEfriend offers support for people who live alone and struggle to see other people.
A video showing volunteers and the people they support talking about their relationships highlights why the charity's work is so important.

Unlike the NHS, Social Care is not free at the point of use. Currently, the threshold for residents to contribute to their own care is set at £23,250 (in personal capital) by the Government.
The most efficient way of paying care contributions is by direct debit. It offers a convenient, flexible, secure system and a better user experience.
Direct debit also helps ensure continued high-quality provision of adult social care and can work for all individual packages.
Help for people in crisis
The Hounslow Safe Space helpline is open every day. So if you are finding things hard, give them a call. It’s there for anyone aged 18 or over who is struggling or feeling overwhelmed.
Call 020 3475 5185 between 11am and 11pm every day.
