Helping you to keep learning
 Five Ways to Wellbeing is now underway. Across five weeks, it highlights five simple steps you can take to feel better as we head into the winter months.
There are events, offers and activities each week, including free Lampton Leisure passes and the chance to win up to £50 of Amazon vouchers in the photography competition.
The theme for next week (10-16 November) is Keep Learning. Learning new skills can boost self-esteem, help build a sense of purpose, and help us connect with others.

Isleworth Care Home seals another award

Subin Sebastian, from Atfield House in St Johns Road Isleworth, has won the 2025 Barchester National Care Award for General Manager of the Year. His achievement is particularly impressive given Barchester has over 200 Care Homes.
The home, which has 68 residents, has been nominated for eight external awards over the past three years. Nearby Charlotte House’s recent Gold Standard Framework acknowledgment makes it a dual celebration for care homes in the area.
Volunteering – pathway to work

 Knowing where to start finding the right support for your child or young person with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) can be overwhelming.
We hold monthly SEND drop-in sessions where you can speak to a professional face-to-face for advice, guidance and support.

Roving vaccinations with the Health Outreach Team
 Hounslow’s Health Outreach Team (HOT) will be on the road in the next few weeks offering free flu and Covid vaccinations to all eligible residents. They will also be offering their usual range of health checks and advice.
They will be administering vaccinations on the following dates:
- Saturday, 8 November – Tesco, Mogden Ln, Isleworth TW7 7JY – 10am to 4pm
- Saturday, 15 November – Bedfont High Street, Car Park, Bethany Waye, Feltham TW14 8BU – 10am to 4pm
- Wednesday, 19 November – Heston Leisure Centre, New Heston Rd, Hounslow TW5 0LW – 10am to 4pm
 Come and meet the design team behind the proposals for Feltham Arenas Parklands. A community drop-in event will take place on Wednesday, 12 November from 2pm - 7pm at Feltham Assembly Hall, where residents can view the plans and share their ideas.
Proposed admission arrangements for community schools
 Every year the Council seeks views on proposed admission arrangements for community schools, this is in line with the Department for Education’s School Admissions Code.
A consultation is now live seeking feedback on promised admission arrangements for community schools for the 2027/28 academic year.
