Housing services recognised for strong performance and commitment to improvement
 The Council has received its first assessment from the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) under the new national consumer standards framework.
The regulator’s report confirms the Council’s housing services meet the second highest consumer grade (C2), highlights several areas of good practice and recognises its clear commitment to resident safety, service quality and ongoing improvement.
Free neurodivergent work event at Hounslow House
 The Community Provisions team is hosting a marketplace event for Hounslow's neurodiverse community on Friday, 7 November from 10.30am.
The session will feature a range of special guests and partners and will seek to provide inspiration and information from lived experience. Aimed at residents with autism, ADHD, dyslexia or any other kind of neurodivergence, the session empowers individuals to realise their strengths, dispel myths and thrive in the workplace.
Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre pool reopens
 The pools at Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre reopened to the public earlier this week, following the completion of essential improvement works.
Working closely with Lampton Leisure and specialist contractors, the Council has been able to ensure delivery of a poolside area meets the highest standards of safety and quality, ready to welcome residents back to enjoy swimming once again.

 Knowing where to start finding the right support for your child or young person with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) can be overwhelming.
We hold monthly SEND drop-in sessions where you can speak to a professional face-to-face for advice, guidance and support.

 The Council has updated its licensing policy to cover a wider range of policies and to better reflect its ambitions to support a thriving economy while keeping it a safe and pleasant place to live, work and visit.
Applicants seeking a new premises licence or making a variation to an existing licence are advised to review the policy before making an application.
The policy provides additional information for applicants, residents and existing licence holders about how the Licensing Act will be dealt within the borough.

 Join Hounslow Council for a marketplace event on everyday safeguarding with stalls offering residents advice and guidance from local services.
This year’s theme is Prevention – Act before abuse, a key facet of adult safeguarding.
