With support from BetterPoints and Healthy Hounslow, Denis successfully quit smoking, improving her health and wellbeing. Read his story:
“I was recently diagnosed with an aggressive bladder tumour. My doctors told me I had to stop smoking immediately, which felt overwhelming at first. I knew I needed support, so I asked my GP for help and was referred to Healthy Hounslow Stop Smoking Support.
"Healthy Hounslow gave me all the tools I needed to quit: constant encouragement, nicotine replacement options like patches, vapes, and liquids. With these tools and a lot of willpower, I went from smoking 10 cigarettes a day to none at all in just 3 months.
"What made this journey even more rewarding was BetterPoints. Every time I achieved a goal, whether stopping smoking, walking instead of driving, or exercising, I earned points that could be redeemed at a variety of high street shops. It kept me motivated and made my health journey even more rewarding. I cannot recommend it enough. If you’re thinking about quitting, Healthy Hounslow Stop Smoking Support sessions, together with BetterPoints, can make all the difference.”
