What happens next? The Local Plan will now be subject to independent examination by a Planning Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State. This process will assess whether the Plan meets legal requirements and the tests of ‘soundness’ as set out in national planning policy.
The examination is a continuous process that may include public hearing sessions, where those invited by the Inspector will have the opportunity to respond to matters raised. This is not a new opportunity to make representations. The Programme Officer will contact participants if further material is required or if they are invited to attend hearings.
Programme Officer The Council has appointed Charlotte Glancy as the Programme Officer to manage the examination process under the guidance of the appointed Inspector. She will be the main point of contact for all examination related correspondence.
You can contact Charlotte via: Email: bankssolutionsuk@gmail.com Tel: 01903 776601 | Mobile: 07519 628064
