The Council is recruiting residents to take part in Impact, a two-year programme for graduates who want to make a difference in communities while launching their management career in the public sector.
There are three opportunities available with Hounslow Council and candidates from all backgrounds and disciplines are encouraged to apply. The closing date for applications is midday on Tuesday, 7 January 2025.

Green skills and construction job fair
 Join West London Green Skills and Construction Jobs and Training Fair at Westfield London, W12 7GF, on Thursday, 12 December, 10am - 4pm, where residents can explore job and training opportunities from employers and colleges.
Digital skills assessments
 Learn Hounslow is now taking bookings for assessments in early December for digital skills courses starting in January and February 2025. These courses range from beginner level to Level 1 and Level 3 qualification courses, as well as MS Office Basics and Intermediate courses

Career goals drop-in sessions
 Residents can start conversations about their career goals with Work Hounslow's employment advisors by joining drop-in sessions across the borough for free information, advice and guidance. No booking is required. Upcoming dates:
Tuesdays
- 3 December, Meadowbank Adult Community Centre (TW5 9QX), 10am - 11am
- 10 December, Brentford Library (TW8 8DW), 1pm - 2pm
- Asylum and refugee session at Feltham Community Hub (TW14 9DN), every Tuesday, 2pm - 5 pm
Wednesdays
- 4 and 11 December Construction drop-in at Hounslow House (TW3 3EB), 2.30pm - 4pm

The Positive Movement Project's Level Up Fitness programme will support six residents in upskilling and developing their career by using physical activity to improve mental health.
Participants will gain access to free, recognised fitness qualification, including Level 2 Gym Instructor and Level 3 Personal Trainer certifications. They will also receive one-to-one business advice, start-up support, and mentoring.
