Get vaccinated with the Health Outreach Team and join Hounslow's Best Defenders
There are plenty of ways to get free vaccinations against Covid-19 and flu in Hounslow this winter. Doing so helps keep you, your loved ones and everyone in Hounslow safe from serious illness.
Councillor Lily Bath recently got both vaccines by meeting Hounslow's Health Outreach Team, which is out and about for the next few months administering free vaccines in the community. See where they'll be on the Council's website.
You can also book your vaccines via your GP, on the NHS booking site, or through participating local pharmacies.
Stay Steady and Active – Free Classes for over 60s
Free Tai Chi, BollyFusion and Strength and Balance classes for over 60s in Hounslow start this week.
If you are 60 or over, taking part in physical activity really benefits you as it helps to increase bone health and strength, reducing the risk of injuries and fractures associated with a fall.
It also helps to preserve independent living and prevent age-related decline in strength, balance and co-ordination, as well as being a great way to socialise.

Have your say on Hounslow’s Transport Strategy
The Council is currently asking residents to provide feedback on the draft Transport Strategy and the draft action plans for walking, wheeling and cycling.
Following the initial consultation over the summer, the Council has used the feedback to develop the draft Transport Strategy, which sets out a vision for a safer, greener, and more efficient transport network in Hounslow. Now, the Council wants residents’ input to ensure the strategy reflects the needs of the entire borough.
In addition to the Transport Strategy, the Council is also seeking feedback on the draft Walking, Wheeling and Cycling Action Plans, which aim to encourage active travel and create safer, more accessible routes for everyone.
