With 12 pages of contact details for services and organisations, it is of particular interest to anyone who supports a friend or family member. Most are free and do not require a professional referral. The sheet is updated every three months.

If you are a carer for a friend or family member and are finding it difficult, you can ask for a Carer’s Assessment. An assessment can help you access services such as:
You can start a carers assessment online via the Autonomy portal. The portal is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and you can take your time to complete it by saving your assessment for up to 30 days. Once submitted (all you need is an email address), a member of the First Contact Team will contact you to complete the process.

The ASC Pop-up information Shop will be out and about over the coming months. Come along if you would like an informal chat with a social worker about a specific issue, to ask a question about local services or just pick up a leaflet.
