West London Business Breakfast and Networking
 West London College are hosting a series of breakfast networking events to bring the West London business community together.
The networking breakfast will take place on Tuesday, 26 March from 8:30-10:30am at Ealing Green College, The Green, London W5 5EW. The event is free to attend, with pre-booking required and no more than two representatives per organisation.
Still time to join fully funded programme to make your business greener
 The second cohort of the Better Futures green business support programme, delivered through Green Business Action London (GBAL), gets underway in April. The UK Government is subsidising a free sustainability and energy support programme for London SMEs, where businesses can learn how to be greener and more efficient.

Lampton Services celebrates commercial recycling milestone
 Ahead of Monday’s Global Recycling Day, Lampton Services – wholly owned by Hounslow Council – has announced that it has diverted more than 545 tonnes of waste through its Commercial Waste Service since it launched two years ago.
Lampton supports Hounslow’s business community in reducing the carbon impact of their waste and recycling, and has also transitioned to Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil trucks in June of last year to deliver a carbon emissions reduction of 90%.

Landlines going digital
 Landlines in the UK are going digital by 2025. It’s likely that this change will affect anything that currently plugs into the existing analogue telephone wall sockets. This includes any equipment that you may provide to clients and customers or equipment they purchase to utilise the services you offer.
Now would be a great time to take an inventory of what you use in your offices and which products and services you provide to your clients and customers and check to see if they’ll work, when lines migrate from analogue to digital ones.
