The event – the second of four due to be held across the borough - is a key part of the Council’s continuing commitment to listen to and engage with residents.
Question Time is an opportunity for residents and businesses to ask the Hounslow Council Cabinet members elected by them, questions about any issues and concerns in the borough that matter to them. Questions need to be submitted in advance via the website or by emailing or writing to the Council.
Electric Vehicle chargers coming to a street near you

This means that by Christmas 2024, most residents with little to no off-street parking will live around a one-minute walk from a charger.

Design your own tours and trails
A new outdoor culture initiative, ‘Tours & Trails’, is now open for borough artists and creatives to submit proposals for creating self-guided walking tours and trails. This will allow residents and visitors to creatively explore and redefine town centres and high streets in Hounslow Central, Feltham, Chiswick and Brentford.
The closing date for submission of proposals will be at 4pm on Friday, 16 February. All tours and trails must be produced in a digital format, including images and sound.

Keeping fit, having fun
![stay fit](https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/fancy_images/UKHOUNSLOW/2024/02/8962230/5247209/stay-fit_crop.jpg) Our Stay Fit, Stay Healthy season continues with a packed programme of free events and activities for the borough’s 60-plus age group.
Hounslow Council has joined forces with the borough’s health partners, to present the three-month programme of health and wellbeing activities that could change your life.
Through February, March and April, Stay Fit, Stay Healthy is being hosted at three of the borough’s sheltered housing schemes: Edward Pauling House in Feltham, Danehurst in Brentford, and Frogley House in Hounslow.
The packed programme of exciting activities is open to anyone aged 60 and over in the borough.
It offers the chance for residents to get out, get active, learn some new skills, and make a few new friends along the way.
Residents can enjoy everything from regular yoga sessions to gentle exercise through the mystical art of Tai Chi, step out with some Latin-flavoured Zumba classes, or move to the beat with some Bollywood-inspired dance classes.
Stay Fit, Stay Healthy isn’t just about exercising the body, there’s plenty for the mind as well. Music therapy sessions offer some stimulation and socialising through the medium of song, while creative arts workshops will give you a brush with success.
And there’s even more, from gardening groups to dementia-friendly cafes, gadget workshops and diet and nutrition sessions.

Household Notification Letter
![Your vote matters, don't lose it](https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/fancy_images/UKHOUNSLOW/2024/02/8927832/instagram-canvass-is-nearly-finished_original.jpg) In preparation for the Mayor of London and London Assembly elections taking place in May, household notification letters were sent to all properties in the borough last week, to give residents the opportunity to ensure all eligible household members are registered to vote.
If the details on the form are incorrect, they can be updated online using the website and unique security codes provided on the letter. It also includes information on the key election dates in the build-up to the election, how to apply for a postal vote as well as the information on the new requirement to bring photo ID when voting in person at a polling station.
If you have any questions about the elections, please contact elections@hounslow.gov.uk or call 020 8583 2828.
