Way2Work is a professional UK based apprenticeship training provider based in Twickenham offering apprenticeship vacancies and full-time job opportunities for young people aged 16 plus.
Way2Work service has been successfully supporting young people to find apprenticeship vacancies and achieve their apprenticeship qualifications for 40 years, all with local employers who value and encourage them to achieve their full potential.
Apprenticeships on offer include:

- Customer Service Specialist 3

Apprenticeships are rolling programmes throughout the year and candidates can apply for apprenticeships at any time. ASK Information Webinars
 Ask offer a series of informative webinars that will provide an abundance of tips, advice, and information around the topic of apprenticeships including:
- Discover T Levels – everything you need to know
- Using the levels of apprenticeships to progress your career
- Webinar to hear from schools and colleges who are delivering the Try a Trade programme to their students.
- How to find and apply for apprenticeships
Each webinar lasts for 30 minutes and will take place on Zoom. Participants will be required to sign up before the session and will receive an email confirmation and a reminder an hour before it begins. The webinars will be recorded and shared with all registrants after the session.

Resources to help students prepare for exams and assessments
Ofqual have published a range of materials – guides, blogs, and other documents – for students, or teachers, parents, carers, and the professionals supporting them to help manage exam pressure. These include:
- A guide for students on coping with exam pressure
A series of blogs written by a group of researchers and practitioners who work together through the University of Manchester’s Institute of Education:

Free Mental Health & Well Being Helpline for Education staff and Organisations
 If your school or organisation does not have an Employee Assistance Programme teachers and education staff can call Education Support to talk through all kinds of concerns including:
- Managing difficult feelings or situations
- Advice on boundary setting and self-care
- Getting the best out of your work relationships
- Planning for or processing difficult conversations
- Any challenging personal matter
- They are there if you simply need to vent!
When you call you will talk to a qualified counsellor. They will offer you immediate, confidential emotional support.

Volunteering
Ealing and Hounslow Volunteers Fair
EHCVS volunteering fairs are designed to help residents of all ages discover Ealing and Hounslow's many vibrant communities and enable residents to get involved in exciting opportunities. At the volunteer fair they invite community partners to set up a stall and speak to residents about their roles and organisations.
Volunteering in the community and giving up time to help others is rewarding in many ways. Not only will volunteers make a difference to the local area and the people who live there, but it also allows young people to meet new people, learn some valuable new skills and impress potential employers!
This is a great opportunity for the young people you work with to meet passionate volunteer recruiters and find out more about what's on offer.

Paid 6 month Work Experience Opportunity from Ambitious about Autism
Marsh McLennan is working with Ambitious about Autism to offer a six-month role within their Restaurant Associates team.
They are looking for a Customer Service Assistant who will be the face of their business, delivering exceptional customer service for Restaurant Associates at Marsh McLennan on a full time basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week.
As a Customer Service Assistant, the successful applicant will contribute to an enthusiastic and friendly team working in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Duties include:
- Preparing delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers
- Serving customers, ensuring they receive a seamless experience
- Being knowledgeable about the food service and helping customers
- Representing Restaurant Associates and maintaining a positive brand image
- Handling cash and operating the cash register
- Complying with Food Handling and Hygiene standards
- Complying with Health and Safety regulations
Skills and qualifications required:
- Have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
- Work well with your team and communicate with them
- Have a desire to succeed in the role
- Possess the ability to work in a busy environment
- Demonstrate excellent timekeeping and be reliable
- Take safety seriously
Eligibility:
- Must be autistic
- Aged 18+
- A UK resident/have the right to work in the UK
Placement begins: November 2023 for six months

SEND Surgery in Isleworth
 Following a successful first session at the Feltham Family Hub in September, the second of a new series of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) drop-in surgeries will come to Isleworth on Wednesday, 15 November. Parents and carers with children aged 0 to 25 can access advice and guidance. Individual sessions will have professionals from the following teams:
- Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
- Therapies – Speech and Language
- SEND Travel Assistance
- Early Help
- General Information
- Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS)
