Support Hounslow Council to drive up borough recycling rates
Calling all CRG members: your support is requested.
In the next week or so, Hounslow will be launching a campaign to try and increase recycling rates in the borough. We want residents to recycle more, and waste less.
As part of our campaign, our Communications department have worked with some residents to capture some imagery and video that will form part of the 'No Time to Waste' campaign. This has been a joy to coordinate and will be really exciting to see 'real' Hounslow residents featuring in posters and graphics across the borough.
Our ask is simple: once the campaign launches and you see it across social media, newsletters, on digital boards across Hounslow (the works!), please share it far and wide in local community groups and with family and friends.
The big steer of the initiative is togetherness. As it is only when we come together as a borough that we can make progress to a cleaner and greener Hounslow. And with higher recycling rates, too.
Please look out for the No Time to Waste campaign in the weeks to come—we'd love to have you all as ambassadors for recycling more, and wasting less.

The Great British Spring Clean is back and Hounslow needs #LitterHeroes to get her looking her best again. Running from Friday, 17 March until Sunday 2 April, join the #BigBagChallenge and pick up as much litter as possible! We will help you to give your local area a Spring Clean by providing free bags and lending you litter pickers for your event. We will also organise for your bagged waste to be collected after the clean-up.
Keep your ears to the ground for more information from Keep Britain Tidy. The KBT campaign and pledge page where you can set up and schedule your events is due to go live on Thursday, 23 February.
In the meantime, feel free to email cleaner.greener@hounslow.gov.uk to express interest.
