Rethinking Recruitment and Retention in Early Years
Your opportunity for rethinking recruitment and retention in early years – FREE
We have been listening to Hounslow providers about their concerns with the recruitment and retention crisis.
To support our Hounslow providers, we have commissioned Hempsalls to deliver an information session and workshop. This will help providers to reframe what they can change and influence what they cannot. This will also enable providers to focus on their spheres of influence and realistic actions.
This is a 2-part workshop
The information session is on 16 January 2023 10.00a.m. - 10.30a.m.
followed by
The workshop on 27 February 2023 10.00a.m. – 1.00 p.m.
All information is available in the training brochure. Please click on the link below to book your place:

Mentors Programme for Childminders
This is a reminder that under the DfE’s recovery programme, you can apply for support from an early years mentor to support your childminding practice. They can support you with your setting, helping you identify areas where your practice is strong and also areas where you could develop. If you would like to have the help from a mentor, please complete the form on the link below DfE Early years Childminder Mentor Programme - Request for support (office.com)
Please note your must submit your application before 17 February 2023. We are awaiting further guidance on how often you will be asked if you would like to sign up and will send this onto you once we have more information. There will also be the opportunity for us as a local authority to nominate childminders who we feel would benefit from this support. As soon as we have more information, we will be in touch.
