Land Management and Arboriculture Bootcamp is a 4-week course that gives you the necessary knowledge and experience to kickstart your career! Working with Lampton GreenSpace 360, Hounslow Highways and Maydencroft, London Borough of Hounslow has created a curriculum which covers the fundamentals of land management, including one week of work experience and one week of employability training.
At the end of the bootcamp, course completers will be offered a guaranteed interviews with employers who are looking to hire new talent.
Land management offers a wide array of career opportunities, all of which allow you to work outdoors and in a wide variety of locations. From tree planting and aftercare, park maintenance, developing infrastructure and working with ecologists to deliver high quality projects, this bootcamp aims to expose you to a suite of skills, knowledge and experience. You are eligible for the bootcamp if you are:
- 19 or over
- currently unemployed or in receipt of means- tested benefits
- Hold a full, clean UK driving licence (desirable)
The course will run from 20th February and will run for four weeks. It will be delivered at London Borough of Hounslow’s Adult Education classrooms and run from Monday to Friday between 10.00am and 2.00pm.
