Welcome to the November edition of our Children's Centres' Newsletter!
Welcome to the latest edition of our newsletter. We hope that you are enjoying the autumn colours during this unusual period of warm weather. We are looking forward to running a session in partnership with Kew Gardens that looks at the colours and patterns of nature at this time of year.
Over the past few months, we have been working with West Middlesex Hospital, so that they are providing more services from our centres. We are really pleased that they are now able to provide two new drop-in sessions for parents who need support with breast feeding. These are at South Isleworth and Brentford Children's Centres.
We are planning lots of exciting activities within our centres in the lead-up to the festive period and hope that you will join us. As you may have noticed on our timetables, there will be no sessions on Friday 11 November, as we will be having a staff inset day. The booking lines will also be closed on this day. Bookings for Wednesday 16 November will therefore open on Thursday 10 November at 10.30am.
Arts & Crafts session in partnership with Kew Gardens
Kew Gardens are running a session on 21 Nov at Brentford Children's Centre. This session is by booking (opens on 16 November at 10.30am).
Everywhere you look, nature is full of patterns. Create your own through nature-based crafts including collage, flower prints, and clay leaf imprints with Kew Gardens’.
For further details please see the East Area Timetable.

Reconfirming your 30-hour free childcare code
If you get 30 hours of free childcare and education and you don’t renew your code and give it to your childcare provider every three months, you won’t be able to claim your 30 hours free childcare for the whole of the next term. This could lead to you missing out on months of free childcare, so make sure you set up a reminder. The Government should send you a text or email before your personal deadline, but it’s always a good idea to put another reminder on your phone and calendar. Sign into your childcare account here to get your HMRC renewal code.
It not too soon to start thinking about your childcare options from January 2023 – visit www.childcarechoices.gov.uk for help with childcare costs.
