Heathrow Airport Graduate Scheme is now open for applications.

London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust Healthcare Support Worker Recruitment Day
London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWH) are holding a Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) Recruitment Day.
The day will be a great opportunity for candidates to meet the nursing team, learn more about the Trust and the job opportunities we have.
The role is available to candidates who are keen on getting into healthcare as no previous experience is required.
Candidates will be given the opportunity to be interviewed and offered a post on the day if successful.
LNWH have job opportunities across all three of their hospital’s sites with lots of exciting opportunities both on general wards and in the specialised areas below:

Main duties of the job:
- Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW) post will act as an entry point into the NHS, where candidate will receive the training, supervision and support to become Healthcare Support Worker (HCSW).
- All HCSWs new to the NHS and care are offered the Care Certificate programme, which forms part of the Level 2 Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship.
- Candidate will develop skills which will enable you to support our Nursing Associates and Registered Nurses in providing care. Typical duties will involve but are not limited to:
- Carry out clinical procedures as required
- Clearing and re-stocking consulting rooms
- Contribute to discharge process of patient
- Support patients with personal hygiene
- Support patients with their dietary needs and record their intake of food/fluids
- Recording Blood Pressure, temperature, pulse and respiration rate
- Care of wounds
- Assist in preparing for clinical procedures and clearing the environment afterwards as appropriate.

Springboard Charity - Skill Up Step Up
Skill Up, Step Up, a two-week programme supported by the Evening Standard and Independent, is focused on upskilling unemployed young Londoners, so that they can be ready for work and getting a job.
The programme designed for young people (16-24), interested in jobs in the hospitality industry – there are many opportunities for front and back of house team members, reception, maintenance, housekeeping and so on.
Start date: 7 November and finish on 17 November with guaranteed interviews.
Location: Cooper's Hall 13 Devonshire Square London EC2M 4TH (travel cost will be fully covered by Springboard)
Time: Monday to Friday

West Thames College Open Days 2022-23
Working with young people who are considering returning to education or thinking about the right course for them, or you just want an update on the courses and apprenticeships West Thames College have to offer young people. They have plenty of occasions to go in and see them. They have regular Open Days, careers events and opportunities to see their students’ work.

Get into User Experience (UX) Design
WKY is proud to partner with The Prince’s Trust to offer a free 10-week skills programme geared towards helping young people launch a career in User Experience (UX). UX is a fantastic career space which mixes many aspects of the wider digital industry. UX is the process of understanding and designing how users interact with digital products such as mobile apps and websites.
This programme is for young people looking to obtain work in the UX industry. UX careers are super varied and contain aspects such as:
- User interface and visual design
- Business analysis
- User Research
- Testing and QA
Course Requirements:
- There are no requirements with regards to education or prior training, but young people must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest for launching a career in UX.
- The course is delivered 80% remote with regular meet ups in person throughout the programme.
- It’s a full-time course for young people who aren’t in full time education or work.
- The course is ideal for someone who is interested in launching a career in user experience.
Candidates are placed at leading companies like Tik Tok, Google, Omnicom, Publicis and Dentsu.

FREE 6 Week Media Training at SKY TV Campus
Applications are still open for the FREE intensive digital media training with the BAFTA winning company, Licklemor Productions. Lunch and travel expenses provided.
The MAMA Youth Project is calling all young creatives resident in Hounslow aged 18-30 with a passion for creating compelling content and a desire for a career in media to apply for this opportunity!
The training is based at the SKY TV Campus, in Osterley, and can grant young people instant industry access while teaching them how to excel in production.
Upon successful completion, trainees will become a MAMA Youth Project Alumni and join the talent pool, providing benefits such as a minimum of 6 months professional Talent Manager support and exclusive access to apply for jobs with a range of industry partners, such as Sky, Netflix, Banijay, Warner Bros Entertainment, ITV, Banijay and many more.
