14 December 2021
We need everyone to come forward this week, ahead of the holidays to get vaccinated to keep everyone safe. COVID-19 is spread through close contact with people who have the virus.
People with the virus can spread it even if they do not have symptoms. The risk of catching it is highest indoors and in crowded places. Help protect yourself and loved ones, as well as the NHS over the upcoming winter months.
You can book or manage a COVID-19 vaccination here: Book your vaccination appointment online or find a walk-in clinic
*Please note that sites are very busy at the moment and there may be a wait.
Also, all people aged 18 to 29 years old will be eligible to book a booster dose using the NHS booking service from Wednesday 15 December.
We understand that self-isolating can be challenging and for some people it may be difficult to pay essential bills, especially if you’re not able to work and do not get sick pay during this time.
Although the track and trace self- isolation payment is only for people who have to isolate, there is other financial support available you can access.
If you would like more information about this, please call 0208 583 4242 or you can call the Community Hub directly on 020 7084 9697 for more information about other support you may need.
