How you can access support

Need to access information and support from the Council? Here's a reminder of all the ways you can do that.

The quickest and easiest way to contact us is still to:

Visit Hounslow House 

The library at Hounslow House is open: 

·        Monday and Thursday – 9.30am - 8.00pm 

·        Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday – 9.30am - 5.30pm 

·        Sunday – 11.00am-4.00pm

No appointment is necessary for library users. 

Please note: Only residents who have been given a pre-booked appointment by Council staff are also able to access Hounslow House. 

To help take care of ourselves and others, anyone visiting Hounslow House for their pre-booked appointment or to access the library still needs to wear a mask, use hand sanitiser and respect social distancing even though restrictions have been lifted. 

All other residents can still contact the council for information and support via our website at www.hounslow.gov.uk

Where can I get vaccinated this week?

All vaccination sites offer Pfizer and AstraZeneca first and second doses (second doses 8+ weeks after first) unless noted otherwise

You can also get your vaccine at one of our community pharmacy sites in the Borough!

Are you remembering to get tested?

Testing regularly protects us all. Here is where you can get your FREE Rapid Test this week if you don’t have COVID-19 symptoms:

• Heston Library (New Heston Road, Hounslow TW5 0LW) - Open 8.00am-4.00pm, Mon-Sun.
• Bedfont Library (Staines Road, Feltham TW14 8DB) - Open 8.00am-4.00pm, Mon-Fri.

Please note: Our testing sites at Heston Library and Bedfont Library will be closed on Bank Holiday Monday (30 Aug), as will our Mobile Testing Units.

You can still get a FREE rapid test quickly and easily by:

• Collecting rapid test kits to do at home: find a pharmacy where you can collect rapid tests
• Ordering rapid test kits to be delivered to your home: Order rapid lateral flow home test kits on GOV.UK

Keep fit and healthy with Lampton Leisure this summer

Take part in FREE outdoor sessions across the borough with Lampton Leisure!

With a range of activities for all ages and abilities there’s something to suit everyone and no membership required.

These sessions will be available every week until Thursday 2 September, giving residents the opportunity to take part in a range of activities free of charge.

Fun free sessions include; 

• Family Fitness - Monday 12pm, Hanworth 
• Family Sports Day - Monday and Wednesday 12pm, Osterley track
• Outdoor Gym - Monday 1pm, Heston
• Athletics - Monday 5-6pm, Osterley track
•  Netball - Thursday 5-6pm, Osterley sports hall 

Simply visit the Lampton Leisure website or download the app, register for an account and head to the relevant centre where the session is held to book your sessions. Bookings are available 7 days in advance.
