Increased payments of up to £1,000 might be available to people who ‘Step Up For Hounslow’ during the Borough's Surge PCR testing and vaccination period. You can now benefit from enhanced Test and Trace Self-Isolation payments if you are on a low income and need to self-isolate but can't work from home.
If you are contacted by NHS Test and Trace or the Council during the planned five-week Surge activity in the Borough, you may be eligible for the enhanced Test and Trace Self Isolation Payment of up to £1,000.
The enhanced Self-Isolation Payments are available for eligible residents as a pilot for a time limited period only. The payments are for those who have had to self-isolate during Surge (between Sunday 23 May and 12 July).
Anyone who applies who does not meet the criteria may be eligible for a discretionary payment.
