A video message from the Director of Public Health, Kelly O'Neill

Kelly O'Neill

Rates of infection in Hounslow and across London are the highest they’ve ever been and will continue to increase if we do nothing.

Residents are urged to stick to all the Tier 3 rules and consider who they visit this Christmas and whether loved ones will be kept safe.

We all need to act responsibly, think of others and play our part to keep ourselves and the most vulnerable safe.

It's clear what Hounslow residents can do - follow the rules, get tested and stay at home.

It’s also important we all keep doing the basics - regularly washing your hands, keeping a safe distance from others and wearing a face covering.

Christmas celebrations

Christmas think about who you spend it with

There will be special restrictions for five days over the Christmas period, between 23 to 27 December. You can form an exclusive ‘Christmas bubble’ made up of people from no more than three households. We must all try to limit the number of social interactions that we have. The fewer social interactions you have, the lower your risk of catching COVID-19. Even though you can visit, think carefully about if you should.
